As far as I know everyone who loves motorcycles also loved the Long Way Round Series. If you happen to be into motorbikes and for whatever reason haven't managed to see it yet you can watch it here for free online, can't say any fairer than that now, can you?
And in case you've been living on another planet and don't know what Long Way Round is, its a documentary series following the journey of Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman from London to New York on motorbikes. They travelled through Europe and Asia, flew to Alaska and continued by road from there to New York.

Summer Motorcycling
Now that the summer weather is here its the perfect time to get the bike out of the garage and make the most of it. These are the weather conditions that motorcycling was make for and if you don't get as many miles in as possible before autumn you know you are going to regret it.
Even though the roads are at the their busiest at the moment there is no better time to ride. Car drivers might be pulling their hair out at delays as they sit in their little metal box unable to get to their holiday home quick enough but for the biker the roads are a playground and being busy doesn't take away from the fun.
To a car driver traveling on the roads is usually all about getting to the destination while for a motorcyclist its usually just about enjoying the ride.
So, if you find yourself sitting in the house with the sun shining outside, make the decision to get the bike out of the garage and go for a ride, you know you won't regret it.

Just Do It!
If you haven't gotten round to passing your motorcycle test yet but have always wanted to give it a try there is no time better than the present. With many of us looking for ways to cut back on our expenses at the moment and motorcycling being a much cheaper way to travel than by car you will not regret swapping your seatbelt for a crash helmet.
Of course, there is so much more to sell motorcycling to the masses than the money it will save you but sometimes its the practical things that eventually persuades someone to try something new. When you get out on the road on your new bike the cost saving you are making will be the last thing on your mind but it might be the impetus to get you there in the first place.

Ride A Motorcycle
I think I can honestly say there is nothing in life I enjoy more than riding my motorcycle. Its rare to find find something that I so much fun that doesn't have some sort of negative consequences. Sure, we're burning up all the oil on the planet but truth is that its all going to go sooner or later so we might as well get fun in the process of burning it all off.
Of course there is always the risk of death whenever scooting around on a motorbike so I suppose you could say that was a negative of sorts but we've all got to die some time and I'm not one to worry about when its going to happen.
Yes, riding motorcycles if a joy! The feeling of the bike connected to the tarmac as you whiz round a corner, the feeling of you bike unconnected from the tarmac when you hit a bump you didn't see at a speed you really shouldn't be doing. There's nothing to beat it.
